You Are Not the Chaos You Walk Through

There is a version of you beneath all the noise…steady, awake, unbreakable.
Stress is a storyteller. It tells you the world is on fire. It tells you that you must fight or flee.
It tells you that you are the chaos.
But that’s not the truth. It’s just your amygdala trying to protect you. It doesn’t know the
whole story - You do.
Take a breath right now, a slow one that reaches all the way down. You are not the storm.
You are the sky that holds it.
Practice: Nervous System Reset:
Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds.
Exhale through your mouth for 6 seconds.
Repeat 5 rounds. (Longer exhales calm the amygdala and lower cortisol.)
Just for today, just be.
